Greetings from BDECHO 2023.
We are delighted to announce that Bangladesh Society of Echocardiography (BSE) is going to organize BDECHO 2023 (Annual Scientific Conference on Echocardiography - International Summit) on 6 October, 2023 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka.
Ever since its invention, Echocardiography has been regarded as one of the most simple, convenient, yet crucial technique for Cardiologists around the globe. Owing to its overwhelming diagnostic potential, this unique non-invasive procedure is now treated as the first line investigation for a multitude of cardiovascular diseases.
Like any other technology, the application of Echocardiography is becoming more sophisticated with the flow of time. And it is absolutely necessary for any practicing clinician to embrace the latest advancements in order to utilize its full potential.
BDECHO 2023 is designed to include interactive lectures and exciting case based discussion addressing the basic and advanced concepts of echocardiography. Eminent Echocardiologists and renowned delegates from home and abroad will attend the summit. In this program, you will come face to face with the experts and also get an opportunity to share your distinguished achievements as well as professional experiences in the field of cardiovascular imaging. Indeed, this summit is planned to be an effective platform for learning and sharing ideas for efficient practice of Echocardiography.

15th October, 2001 during the "General Meeting" at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, (NICVD), the Concept of Bangladesh Society of Echocardiography (BSE) was discussed by Prof. M. Nazrul Islam. Professor-cum-Director, NICVD. This was unanimously accepted in the General Meeting in the presence of Prof. M. Nazrul Islam, Prof. Abdus Zaher, Prof. AKM.
